As we reflect on our course, I am filled with deep gratitude and pride in what we have come to be. A vision grounded in purpose, integrity, and service has grown into an organization shaped by the dedication of our team, stakeholders, partners and the trust of those we serve. The integrated collaboration from different stakeholders has helped us in shaping the vision where we thrive for progress and inclusion.
Our progress has never been coincidental. It is the result of clear values, disciplined execution, and an unwavering commitment and the desire to serve with excellence. Throughout the growth process, we have remained focused on our mission — creating lasting value to those we serve and the system while upholding the highest standards of responsibility and professionalism.
I call upon our technical team to invest in research, technology and innovation to further propel our progress towards ‘leaving no one behind.’

About Us
Melian Foundation is a Tanzanian-based Non-Government Organization established under the Laws and Regulations of the United Republic of Tanzania. Our objective is to empower, promote, reinforce, and engage in community development programs that drive positive change at the grassroots level.
We focus on Health, Education, Environment & Climate Change, Gender Equality & Equity, and Livelihood. Our programs are designed with a collaborative implementation methodology, ensuring inclusion, participation, and measurable impact for all.

Melian Foundation’s projects are designed to create lasting, community-driven impact across Tanzania. Focusing on health, education, gender equality, climate change, and sustainable livelihoods, each initiative responds to real local challenges.
SickleCare Project
A flagship initiative addressing sickle cell disease through newborn screening, training of healthcare workers, and raising public awareness for early detection and better patient outcomes.
Free Medicine Delivery
In partnership with Melian Software Company LTD, this service ensures timely home delivery of essential medicines—including Malaria, HIV, and TB drugs—for both insured and uninsured patients, enhancing availability, affordability, and convenience.
Service Provider Capacity Building
In collaboration with Nebula Healthcare and the Zanzibar Ministry of Health, this program strengthens community health systems through training in research, survey, monitoring, inventory, and service delivery for healthcare workers.
Maternal and Child Health
Through donation of 300 safe birth kits to Magu and Korogwe districts, Melian Foundation helps reduce maternal and neonatal deaths by equipping underprivileged mothers with critical delivery supplies.
Mushroom Farming Project
This project promotes nutrition and economic growth by training small-scale farmers to grow and market mushrooms, rich in Vitamin D and Zinc—empowering communities nutritionally and financially.
