E-Learning Platform Implementation
Program Overview
Melian Foundation, in collaboration with Nilax Healthcare Ltd and Axis Health Services, is spearheading the development of a credible, affordable, and accessible E-learning platform. This initiative aims to support the professional development of Community Health Workers (CHWs) and other health service providers in both Zanzibar and mainland Tanzania.
Program Objectives
> Equip CHWs and health service providers with up-to-date knowledge and skills in patient care, health management, and prevention strategies.
> Provide flexible and remote learning opportunities to health workers in both urban and remote areas.
> Facilitate standardised training aligned with Ministry of Health guidelines.
Home-Based Care Component
> In addition to virtual training, the program integrates a home-based care service where trained professionals can deliver care directly to patients in their homes or communities. This ensures accessibility, continuity of care, and increased health literacy at the household level.
