Project Overview

Melian Foundation is collaborating with Nebula Healthcare and the Ministry of Health Zanzibar to implement a comprehensive capacity-building program. This initiative is focused on strengthening the service delivery competencies of Community Health Workers (CHWs) and related personnel at the community level.

The goal is to create a structured and integrated CHW system that supports long-term health outcomes and aligns with national health strategies.

Project Objectives

>> Conduct community-level health research and surveys.
>> Strengthen CHW service provision and outreach.
>> Enhance monitoring, evaluation, and control systems.
>> Improve inventory and health supply chain management.

Strategic Focus

>> Establish a unified CHW system across all regions of Zanzibar.
>> Centralize coordination of all health events and service delivery efforts.
>> Enable consistent reporting, learning, and evaluation across all CHW levels.
